The period from 1968 to 1988 encompasses my first life in Tucson.   Moving from Malibu beach to the Eastside of town was very pleasant and different.   I was raising three darling daughters, and teaching infants and children to swim in our backyard pool.   When things got too busy for the neighborhood, we built a professional pool on Speedway & Camino Seco where I had two businesses: Shari's Swim School and a flower shop called THE FLOWER HOUSE.

In 1988, with the businesses sold, we went back to the beach to renovate a couple of properties while enjoying the weather, doing alot of gardening, learning to play tennis, cycling and kayacking and doing a bit of traveling.   Finally it came time to return to Tucson to stay!

Upon returning to Tucson, we had a family reunion at Christmas and I decided to make it a WESTERN one.   So I made Boot Stockings for everyone and made some Boot purses for the girls.   This turned out to be great fun, so I started collecting boots!

So now I have a new hobby that I enjoy as takes me out to meet new, interesting people and see new places.   As long as people are interested in the purses I make, I will enjoy making them!

Tucson is a wonderful town and the perfect place to do this!
